Getting 2 tractors stuck

About 20 years ago, I was the proud new owner of a '52 8N and was using it to clear brush from the site we would later build a house on. This being my first tractor, I wasn't throughly acquainted with its capabilities and limitations, so managed to get it stuck. Nobody around to help push/pull, so I walked over to a neighbor's to see if he could pull me out with his '58 Massey-Harris. It didn't run any better than the 8N, but had wheel weights and was considerably heavier. He wasn't home, but he had told me previously to use it anytime, so I cranked it up and headed to my lot, about half a mile away. Well, long story short, I managed to get the Massey-Harris buried up to the axle and still didn't have the 8N out! About that time, the neighbor showed up and, after a good laugh, we put a couple of winches to work and managed to get both tractors out after about an hour's work, one broken winch, and several trimmed saplings which got 'in the way'!
