Remember the story about the monkey with his fist caught in the jar? | Because he wouldn't let go of the apple inside? I changed the oil in the rear end of my tractor today. Took off the various plates and inspection covers and was cleaning the oily gunk out of the bottom with a rag. Reached into the one smaller hole and was cleaning in there. My hand was just small enough to go in. But then when I tried to pull it back out I was stuck! Panic time!! For a second there I had visions of having to go down to the ER with a tractor stuck to my hand. Then I realized: IF I LET GO of the wad of rags my hand could just slip back out. Whew!! Lucky it was just a bunch of greasy rags rather than something I really wanted. Like an apple or wad of 10 bills. You learn something every time you monkey around with a tractor. You know?
