1947 Allis Chalmers WC | My best friend Bought a WC for 200. The Man told us that it ran about a year ago. All the tires were flat and the rims were rotted out. When we got there to pick it up it the transsmission froze full of ice! When we got it up to the trailer it was too wide. It was a slow ride home making sure that it would stay on the trailer. We pulled it off the trailer with his 7.3 diesel. We got the 3 of the tires to hold air and put the blast heater and thawed out the rear end. We pulled it in his garage and discovered the unthinkable. An 11in long crack which was about .5 in wide in the water jacket!! The tractor is waiting to go to the scrap yard unfortunatly. But there is a chance that we might get it running just for haha's. Hunter Berti, CT, entered 2013-02-07 My Email Address: Not Displayed |
