Bought Jubliee from Old Farmer, What a Salesman

I was on a country road in Virginia and saw a tractor in a farmers back yard as I drove by. I made the trip back and ask him if it was for sale. He said it was not for sale but it is now. He was a good salesman and told me all the things he used it for and how strong it was. When he started it up for me, he told me to look at the oil pressure gauge and how it stayed in the high area on the gauge. That was good enough for me, no smoke, started easy and good oil pressure. He even talked me into buying his low boy to haul it home on. What a salesman, I could not say no to anything he suggested. He said he would throw in the 6 foot blade if I bought the rake and tiller. When I was driving home with about everything he had, I was thinking, 'that old guy saw me comming' I know I payed too much but I was happy. The next day I was looking over the tractor, I noticed the oil pressure needle was still in that same high area of the gauge and the tractor was not even running? The needle was broken and stuck in the high position. I still laugh years later when I think of that old farmer. But all is well, it still has good oil pressure even with the new gauge. The value of anything is what it's worth to you, I would have done it all over again just for the oil gauge pitch from the old farmer. Now, I am the old guy and me and 'Jubilee Judy' have reached the golden years but we still haul out a log or two when needed for fire wood.
