Challenges

Hey guys, I thought that I'd share my latest challenge as a young Deere service technician. About a year ago I was released from active duty with the Arkansas National Guard, I was deployed in the wake of 9/11. I suddenly found myself the proud daddy of a 9 month old little girl. And not wanting to continue the life of a commercial land leveler that traveled from state to state. So I quit the job that I had not even returned to, and applied at our local Deere dealer. I had never been a 'mechanic' so to speak. But I knew alot about the green brand of equipment so I had a job! Now I am the proud owner of a 46 D. And am preparing for another deployment to Iraq. I am leaving my wife, my two sons, and my 22 month old daughter. Not to mention a new house that isn't finished, a half trained chocolate lab pup, and my new old D. The challenges of my life are sometimes hard to deal with,bBut I enjoy freedom as much as anyone else so the D can wait another year. Hopefully I'll have enough replys to this with some good information on where to get parts, or even pictures of already completed restorations thatsome of you have done in the past. I am proud that I am free to do the things I am able to do without fearing death or torture by the hands of wicked and evil rulers. If you would like to write me back in the future, you can reach me at stiegerdriver@hotmail.com God bless us all and support all of our troops at home and abroad.

Sincerely, Corporal Kennth Futrell U.S Army,2/153 INF. GOD LOVES THE INFANTRY!!!
