I am 15 and live in the small town of McCook Nebraska. I was driving past a house where an older gentleman lived. You could tell he used to farm because he has an older John Deere sittin by his house that never moves. But as I drove by I saw his electric wheelchair parked next to the old tractor. The older gentleman then slowly hoisted himslef up into the cab and just sat there looking into the distance. I just imagined what he was thinking about that moment. It struck me hard. The man has probably spent most of his life farming, and from the looks of it he finally had to sell his farm because he was getting up there in his years. Having that be your way life and having it all taken away is sad. It made me learn that enjoy life while you can. I hoped you liked my story.
