The Memorys live on.

I grew up on my gram and pops 25 acre farm. But I can remember plowing, planting, and balin hay with my pops allis chalmers wd 45 man that tractor was a work horse!my pop pulled a three buttom plow with it and he would stand that tractor strait up in the air and still keep chuggen like he was on all fourwheels! My pop use to grow his hole 25 acres in corn and I can remember picking it all by hand with the allis and a trailer and the ford pick up we use to pick into the night with just the lights from the tractor and the truck those days I did'nt miss! One day me dad and pop went to a sale and my dad and pop got a 2 row corn picker man when we pulled into the farm with it hitched to the back of the ford and my gram was out side I think I can remember her fallin to her knee's and startin to cry that she could be so so happy! That was in like 1987 or 1988.well my pop died of cancer in 1991 me and dad persuide to run the farm and it was the weirdest thing ever cus one day me and dad was out plowin with the 3 bottum's and dad did the same thing pop did he stood that wd 45 strait up in the air and kept on cranken it just reminded me so much like pop was in the seat of his pride and joy again.well my gram sold the farm in 1994 cus it was just to much for her to take care of and with the twin ponds and everything.I now have my pops allis and tryin to follow my pops foot steps and I know he's always with me cus when I got out to the barn and open the doors and fire up the old allis and drive it out I sware its just like when I was a kid and my pop would let me drive it back to the barn he would stand behind me with his hand on my shoulder sayin good job kidoo and I still can feel like he's right by me showin me his way.hope this story makes sence to ya all thanks for readin.
